Hyderabad: The Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday revealed that he would shortly bestow his son, KTR with the additional charge of Municipal Affairs. KCR was addressing a large rally at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Saturday.

KCR stated that his son KTR had worked hard for the GHMC elections and had made himself endearing to the people of Hyderabad and for the sake of the development of Greater Hyderabad he would shortly give KTR the additional responsibility of Municipal Affairs ministry. This would be in addition to the responsibilities that KTR already holds: IT and Panchayathiraj ministry. Municipal Affairs is currently under the purview of KCR as of now.

The Telangana government cabinet so far includes the following ministers and their portfolios, including the chief minister:
