Nandyal: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has assured the people of Nandyal that he would develop the town on par with Pulivendula. He was addressing people at Saibaba Nagar in the constituency as part of the election campaign in support of party candidate Silpa Mohan Reddy on Friday.

YS Jagan asked the people to leave the development of Nandyal to him and vote for justice in the by-election. He urged the people to make YSRCP nominee Silpa Mohan Reddy victorious with a huge margin.

AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has duped farmers in the name of loan waiver, YS Jagan has said. DWCRA women too have been done in by Chandrababu's false assurances. The TDP government had promised the DWCRA women of waiving off Rs 14,000 crore, but did nothing after coming to powerm he pointed out. It is the same case with the unemployed youth in the state as they too were given a short-shrift by the TDP government, he remarked.

"On one hand the state government has assured the people that he would close the belt shops. But, on the other, it is planning to provide home delivery of liquor. This seems to be the only achievement that Chandrababu has made during the last three years," YS Jagan said.

TDP has amassed wealth and have managed to buy off 21 YSRCP MLAs. Now, they are using the same money power to purchase votes in Nandyal, he said and wanted the people to teach a fitting lesson to Chandrababu Naidu.
