Telugu Rebel star Prabhas has become a household name after the Baahubali franchise became a global phenomenon. Prabhas recently revealed that he had signed a Bollywood film three years ago and that he had to put the film on hold due to prior commitments.

In a latest update, the filmmakers are on the look out for a leading lady to be paired opposite the Telugu rebal star. The latest we hear is that the makers are considering one of the Bollywood divas? No prizes for guessing! Yes, she is none other than Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone.

Grapevine has it that the makers narrated the script to her but now waiting for her nod. Should she turn down the offer, the makers apparently have other two actresses on their list (Read Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt).

Prabhas is currently busy filming Saaho which is being helmed by Sujeeth. It will be the actor's first film post Baahubali-The Conclusion. Saaho is being made on a budget around Rs 150 Cr and boasts of some high octane action scenes which is to be shot in Dubai.

Saaho will be released in Telugu and Tamil and the filmmakers are planning to dub the film in Hindi too as Prabhas now holds a pan Indian appeal. Undoubtedly, Saaho is one of most awaited films of the year.
