Why were Union ministers from Seemandhra silent in LS?

Seemandhra MPs have created a ruckus in both Upper House and Lower Houses forcing the monsoon session of Parliament to adjourn twice.

Amid pressure from the Seemandhra peoples, MPs from Coastal and Rayalaseema districts were seen actively involved in drawing the attention of the House to the after-effects of Telangana. Andhra Pradesh became a topic of focus in the Lok Sabha today as the house turned noisy. (Also Read)

Raising slogans and demanding the protection of the Seemandhra people's rights,  they surrounded the Speaker's podium. Despite Sonia Gandhi's direction to maintain composure, a few MPs refused to budge.

However, Central Ministers from Seemandhra region did not take part in the MPs' protest. It is learnt that Union ministers Chiranjeevi, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Killi Krupa Rani, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and Daggubati Purandhareswari were calm and involved in the proceedings.

They behaved as if the situation did not concern them in any way.
