Nagaraju and Somanatha Reddy are just two faces in the crowd. Blink and you'll miss them. But, they have steely determination to pay back their debt of gratitude to the man who helped them build their lives, made them unique. These two youths -- Nagaraju of Dharmavaram and Somanatha Reddy of Settur in Kalyanadurg mandal-- joined Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra. They have vowed to walk with YS Jagan all of the 3000 km for 180 days. They would go home only after the yatra culminates at Ichchapuram.

Why have they taken up this arduous task?

"We owe our smiles to YS Rajasekhara Reddy. We got pucca houses while he was the chief minister. We are also beneficiaries of the historic loan waiver that YS Rajasekhara Reddy had implemented. We want to repay our debt of gratitude and this is our way of doing it," said Nagaraju and Reddy. "The state has been orphaned after YSR passed away and YS Jagan alone can bring back its lost glory," they added.

This is not the first time that Raju and Reddy are participating in such yatras. They were part of YS Sharmila's 3200-km Padayatra. "This time too, we will trek all the way up to Ichchapuram,'' they said. It is supporters such as these that are making the yatra a never-to-be-forgotten event.
