President of Andhra Intellectual Forum Chalasani Srinivas asked the APNGO President Ashok Babu to explain the reason behind ending the strike done against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
After a long period of strike, the APNGO had to stop their strike as per the advice of its chief Ashok Babu.
“If the strike was continued for another eight hours, the centre would have come down and the state would have been united,” said Chalasani.
He made the comments while speaking at a seminar conducted by Andhra intellectuals in Guntur on Saturday.
“Did Ashok Babu get any instructions from AICC Incharge of Congress Affairs Digvijay Singh on ending the strike?” asked Chalasani.
“There are still some chances on Supreme Court obstructing the bifurcation of the state. The centre is yet to give its reply to the court on the petition filed against the formation of Telangana,” said Chalasani.
