Who will claim cash seized by police?

It's time for police to count the money. In view of the local body polls, the police has been cash to the tune of lakhs that is unaccounted for.

Police found Rs 2.35 crore in a car at Boppadi village of Chilakaluripeta mandal in Nellore district. According to the police, the money was being taken from Nandyala to Guntur.

The cash was withdrawn from the City Union bank. However, no receipts were found, police said.

Police suspect that the money was being  transported to be used for local body polls. It is yet to be seen who will come forward to claim the money.
