Who filmed the Himachal tragedy?

Bihari Lal is known to shoot weddings and happy occasions. He immortalised those memorable occasions. But on Sunday he shot something that he would very much like to forget, but might never be able to do so. 

He is the videographer who shot the horrific sequence of events that led to the washing away of 24 students from VNR Vignan Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology. The students were taking pictures sitting on rocks and boulders in Beas River when water was suddenly released from a hydroelectric power plant nearby. The water washed away unsuspecting students. Speaking to a leading daily about shooting the distressing event, Lal said that he was standing some meters away from the accident spot. He along with his marriage party tried to gain the attention of the students to warn them about the impending catastrophe by whistling and clapping, but the boisterous students couldn't hear the warnings.   

And before anything could be done, the gushing water engulfed them.
