Actress Sridevi is dead. But her memories continues to haunt her fans. She was one of the most sought-after heroines and the highest paid actresses in the 80s and 90s. She started her career at the age of four with the film Thunaivan and made her debut as a lead actress in the Tamil movie Moondru Mudichu with Rajinikanth. You know what was Sridevi's Remuneration at that point? She was offered an amount of Rs 5000 as remuneration for the movie and it was the highest in those days.

Wondering how much the hero of the movie Tamil superstar and Thalaivar Rajinikanth got Paid for the same film? The actor was paid less than half of Sridevi's remuneration i.e. of Rs 2000. Tamil top actor Kamal Haasan, who also made an extended cameo in the movie, was paid a whopping Rs 30,000. As Rajinikanth was new to the Industry, he was paid less when compared to the actress.

Sridevi died on Saturday after drowning in a bath tub at a hotel room in Dubai, where she went to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.
