'What if KCR made this statement in another country?'

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana on Tuesday condemned TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao for accusing three generations of Congress party—Nehru to Sonia Gandhi— for the prevailing uncertainty in the state.

He took strong objection to KCR's remarks that referred to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a “chaprasi” (peon) of Parliament. While addressing a gathering during the 'Samara Deeksha' at Indira Park on Monday evening, KCR made the controversial statement much to the disgust of the ruling party.

Botsa asked KCR if he knew what would have been the consequences if the same statement was made in other countries. "Just imagine what action would have been taken if the same remark against prime minister was made in another country," Botsa told KCR.

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, Botsa said that Sonia Gandhi is a personification of sacrifice—else who would sacrifice a Prime Minister's post? He also reminded KCR that he had called Sonia a goddess in the past and now making derogatory remarks against her. "If Sonia Gandhi follows your demands, she will be a goddess. Else, you call her a devil."

He questioned KCR as to how he can misuse the freedom of speech? Botsa also advised KCR to polish his language.

The PCC chief also said that the people of Andhra Pradesh very well known how the state was formed and what were the circumstances that led to the formation of the state. Andhra was formed purely for the sake of people and there was no political gain. "It was at the behest of the people from all regions across the state that AP was formed."

Reacting to KCR's question if India was truly a democratic country, Botsa said: "Because India is a democratic country you (KCR) were able to make such a bold statement against our PM."

He demanded that KCR withdraw his remarks against Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan  Singh.

The PCC chief also condemned the CPI state secretary's remarks where he called Azad a 420. "What happens if Congress activists call you 840?" he asked!

Botsa made it clear that the 'Jai Samaikyandhra' led by MP Vundavalli had no links with the Congress Party in any way.
