AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's unannounced visit to New Delhi and his 'disappearance' for over six hours has become a mystery wrapped inside an enigma. Everything about his Delhi visit is mysterious.

Firstly, there was utter secrecy about the visit. He sent back his confidant, finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu to Hyderabad and headed straight to Delhi. Secondly, he reached Delhi at about 3.15 pm. At the same time, the officials indicated that he would leave for Vijayawada at 3.55 pm. For over six hours, the officials misled the media saying that the chief minister was still in the airport lounge.

But, highly places sources revealed that Babu left by another door and met some people in New Delhi. Who he met and what transpired at the meetings remains a secret. At around 9.30 pm, he started for Vijayawada.

It is believed in political circles that the TDP supremo was rattled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi giving an appointment to YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chandrababu's 'disappearance' may have got something to do with this development.

TDP jittery over Modi-YS Jagan Meet: Jogi Ramesh

YSRCP on Saturday sought to know where Chandrababu was during the six hours. "Who did he meet? What did he do for six hours?" asked party spokesperson Jogi Ramesh.

He said the TDP was jittery ever since Modi and YS Jagan met. He said the party had raised the issue of unbridled corruption of the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh. He also sought to know how many MoUs have been entered into and what was the total cost of the CM's foreign visit.
