Crowds wating patiently for YS Jagan

Stating that welfare schemes have taken a backseat in the Chandrababu Naidu government, YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that village secretariats would be set up to decentralise the administration and to ensure that the benefits of the welfare schemes are passed on without party and regional bias.

During an interaction with women groups in Ravulacheruvu of Anantapur district as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, YS Jagan said that the Chandrababu Naidu government has lost credibility by going back on every poll promise. He said every section of the people was unhappy with his government.

"We will set up village secretariats and appoint locals in it to ensure hassle-free disbursal of benefits from the welfare schemes. The village secretariats will issue certificates, ration cards, disburse pensions and ensure proper implementation of Aarogyasri and fees reimbursement within 72 hours of applying," he said.

The response to the yatra in Ravulacheruvu was tremendous. A large number of people lined up to narrate their problems to YS Jagan. He heard them patiently and assured them that good times were ahead and the present government was on its way out.
