'We will protest if RGIA is renamed after NTR'

Former minister and senior Congress leader Duddilla Sridhar Babu blasted Telugu Desam Party for trying to rename Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad in Hyderabad.

It may be recalled that TDP has been trying to rename the airport after former chief minister and TDP founder N.T.Rama Rao.

Speaking to reporters at Manthani in Karimnagar district on Sunday, he said, “As an opposition party, we will protest over all the wrong decisions of the ruling party.”

“BJP government brought the ordinance on Polavaram submerging areas without taking into account the sentiments of Telangana people,” said the leader.
