Watchman Admits To Killing His Wife After Blaming Construction Workers  

Hyderabad: Suspecting infidelity a man reportedly strangled his wife to death on Saturday night and attempted to put blame on two workers with whom the couple had a fight previously.

Mallesh works as a watchman of KK Nagar Colony Phase II in Bandlaguda, Rajendranagar and resided with his deceased wife Venkatamma (28) in the same place.

Earlier in the day, the two workers indulged in a verbal spat after Venkatamma denied them the use of electricity for their work. Venkatamma informed her husband about the incident who then picked up fight with the duo.

“After the incident Venkatamma fell asleep and Mallesh suspecting his wife of having an affair with another man decided to kill her and pass the blame on the construction workers,” said V Umendar, Rajendranagar inspector.

Police took Mallesh and the two workers into custody for questioning and during interrogation Mallesh confessed to crime.
