Subba Reddy pointed out that YSRCP had given notice to the Lok Sabha to move no-trust vote against the NDA government. The Congress too had given a similar notice, YSRCP would support the no-confidence motion taken up in the house based any party's notice, he said. He informed that they would meet the party President and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and discuss the strategy to be followed by the party in the Parliament.

YSRCP MP pointed that it was their party which was relentlessly fight for Special Category Status (SCS) to AP. On the other hand, TDP's SCS talk is politically motivated he said and mentioned that even BJP President Amit Shah had written about this in his letter to TDP chief. He asserted that five MPs are representing the aspirations of five crore people of the state.

Subba Reddy pointed that TDP was staging a new drama every day in regards to SCS to AP and he added that it was now saying that the party would approach court to seek justice for the state. He informed that CAG had also clearly pointed out the corrupt practices of TDP government in its report.

He accused that during the last four years of TDP rule, no good work was taken up but lots of scams have found its way into the government. It was unfortunate that a person who claims to be a senior politician is directly involved in numerous scams, the YSRCP MP said.

Subba Reddy pointed out that the party MPs were sticking to the their agenda and would quit on April 6, if the centre fails to award SCS to AP. He called upon TDP MPs also to submit their resignations and said when done jointly the pressure would be on the centre to award SCS to AP.
