Wardhannapet ACP Durgaiah Yadav Dies Of Swine Flu  

Hyderabad: Warangal district's Wardhannapet ACP Durgaiah Yadav died of swine flue at Yashoda hospital here on Sunday.

Durgaiah was undergoing treatment for swine flu at Yashoda hospital for some time but the killer disease aggravated last night. Despite their best efforts, the doctors could not save the young police official who succumbed to the deadly swine flu this morning.

The death of the police official further aggravates the fear of swine flu among the common people. The number of swine flu cases being reported in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana state are on an alarming rise in the recent weeks.

A 1992 IPS batch official, Durgaiah made a mark for himself with his sincere service and bold attacks on Maoists in Warangal district. The police department was shocked over the death of Durgaiah.

Another CI in the district is also suffering from swine flu.
