War of words heats up between TRS,TDP
The war of words between Telugu Desam Party and Telangana Rastra Samithi leaders is escalating with each passing day.
Talking to reporters in Hyderabad on Sunday, TRS leader Jupally Krishna Rao asked the TDP chief to say 'Jai Telangana' and questioned Naidu - Is it below your dignity to praise Telangana?
"Why the four TDP MLAs in Warangal District did not appeal to Naidu to say Jai Telangana,” Jupalli asked.
Taking exception to the sharp criticism by TRS leaders on Naidu's stand on the Telangana issue at the all-party meeting, his party leader Yerrabelli Dayakara Rao said that the TRS would be forced to retaliate if the party burnt the effigies of Naidu.
He also said that the TRS party would be buried soon. Yerrabelli alleged that KCR and his family benefited by provoking students and youth to participate in the Telangana movement. “They have been cheating the people of Telangana for the past 12 years”, he said.
