War of words between Collector and YSRCP MLA

Kadapa: Tension prevailed during the review of vigilance department at Collectorate of YSR Kadapa district on Saturday morning. MLAs from YSR Congress Party Rachamallu Prasad Reddy, Raghuramireddy, Ravindranath Reddy, Amjad Shah and ZP Chairman Ravi including district Collector attended the meeting.

MLA Rachamallu questioned district Collector how could beneficiaries be selected when the village sarpanchs(heads) are not present at the meeting. In the course, a heated argument erupted between MLA Rachamallu and the district collector. Rachamallu expressed his anger over the the role of Janmabhoomi Committees and reviews by the candidates who lost in the elections in the Assembly elections.
He asked why the TDP leader Varadarajulu, who lost in the election, is participating in the review meeting. He squatted on the floor in protest against the TDP leader’s presence in the meeting.
