Viral Sensation Priya Varrier Gets A Taste Of Social Media Trolls

Thiruvananthapuram: Social media sensation and overnight superstar on the Internet, Priya Varrier has now become a victim of social media trolling. In fact she is being abused and dirty comments are being posted against the young girl on social media. This has affected the actress and her family, who have approached the police to put an end to them.

Priya Varrier became famous for her wink and smile in a song from her debut Malayalam flick Ordu Adaar Love which went viral. The young actress earned immense appreciation for her naughty gestures in the video from Oru Adaar Love, particularly in the song Manikya Malarayi Poovi where she winks at her boy friend on the school campus. This sequence took the Internet by storm and the sensation continues.

It's worth mentioning here that the song drew criticisms from various quarters with a complaint filed at the Falaknuma police station saying the song hurt Muslim sentiments.

Now, the latest attack on social media seems to have taken it to the next level. Recently she posted a photograph of herself on Instagram which has invited the wrath of public.

Few netizens used foul language and made obscene comments against Priya Varrier. The actress had to react strongly owing to the extreme vulgarity of the comments. Few of her family members approached Cyber Crime branch of police in Thiruvananthapuram seeking action against the culprits. The police has registered a case and investigating the matter.
