Vijayendra Prasada Apologises For ‘Sri Valli’, Praises Crew

Vijayendra Prasad, father of ace director Rajamouli, on Thursday apologised to the makers of ‘Sri Valli’ movie. He admitted that he could not translate the script on to the screen.

Hyderabad: Vijayendra Prasad, father of ace director Rajamouli, on Thursday apologised to the makers of 'Sri Valli' movie following the poor show at the box office. An erotic sci-fi thriller, movie Sri Valli was released last week amidst high expectation. Even Rajamouli too endorsed the movie. However, the movie failed to meet the expectations of the audience and utterly failed at the box office.

Fourth movie as a director, Vijayendra Prasad admitted that he could not translate the script on to the screen. He praised the technical experts and the crew for giving good output. Producers Sunitha and Rajkumar Brindaavan too did not step back when the script demanded high budget, he said.

"But my direction failed completely and I could not give audience a good film," he admitted.
