Vijayamma pleads ailing Jagan to end fast

It was Jagan who asked his mother to call off her hunger strike concerned over her ill health.

Now it's the turn of Vijayamma to make the same appeal to Jagan who is adamant on continuing his fast at the hospital despite failing health.

The political affairs committee of the part met today to discuss the political developments in the state and also on Jagan's health.

Speaking to the media after meeting, Vijayamma pleaded with Jagan to call off his hunger strike immediately. She expressed concern over her son's health after examining the doctors' reports. She expressed distress at not being allowed to see her son. She revealed that even after so many requests, Jagan is firm on continue his fast.

As the police did not allowing her to meet Jagan, Vijayamma said she would write a letter to Jagan. She also said that they have requested the court to allow her and YS Bharathi to stay as attenders to Jagan in the hospital.
She appealed to Jagan's supporters not to take any hasty steps in view of the sad turn of events.
