Vijayamma: Congress should serve equal justice to all regions

YS Vijayamma, the YSR Congress Party honorary president said that the Congress party had taken unilateral decision on the division of Andhra Pradesh.

Vijayamma, Sharmila and YS Bharathi on Tuesday went to Idupalapaya to seek blessings of YSR on successful completion of 'Maro Praja Prasthanam' padayatra.

Speaking to media at Idupulapaya, the resting place of late YSR, Vijayamma demanded to know how far was it fair to give Hyderabad to Telangana?

She questioned KCR's controversial remark that asked Seemandhra people to leave Hyderabad? She demanded a clarity from Centre on the issue and wanted equal justice for two regions. If they cannot do justice to both regions, how did the Centre go ahead with state bifurcation, she asked. Congress and TDP are playing double games on the division of the state, she added.

From the beginning,YSRCP has been demanding that Centre behave like a father who does no injustice to either children during bifurcation.

They divided the state into pieces to get back at Jagan Mohan Reddy, she added. She slammed the Congress leaders for their contradictory statements on the division. YSR always wanted to develop all the three regions and also if at all the state was divided, justice would have been served to every region. Irrespective of  whether the state is divided or not, there will be no death of YSR supporters and YSRCP too has presence in all the regions, said Vijayamma.
