Vijay Devarakonda At Golden Star Ganesh’s Chamak Audio Launch

Hyderabad: Tollywood's latest heartthrob Vijay Devarkonda's popularity is soaring so much so that he's being invited by cinema industries in the neighboring states as well. The Arjun Reddy actor was invited to launch the audio of Kannada film ‘Chamak' in Bengaluru.

Vijay is one star who never minces words and is known for speaking his mind out. So was the case at the audio launch of Kannada actor Ganesh's film. The actor said his first solo film Pelli Choopulu which ran for 100 days made him snobbish. But when he googled about actor Ganesh, he was surprised to know that one of his films run for 800 days.

“My first film as a hero ran for 100 days. As a very arrogant and a proud 100-day film guy, I was googling Golden Star Ganesh and his film ran for bloody 860 days. What the….? Like which film runs for 800 days,” he said.

The actor went on to thank Karnataka people for giving best of cricketers and stars. Interestingly, Chamak actress Rashmika Mandanna also plays female lead in Devarakonda’s upcoming film tentatively titled Parasuram.

He heaped praises on Rashmika saysing, “In Telugu, our Anushka Shetty, who is a superstar, is from Karnataka. So you have given India so many actors, actresses and cricketers. And now you have given Rashmika Mandanna to the Telugu film industry.”
