Vidyadhara Rao's death: Chiranjeevi leaves for Eluru

Leaders cutting across party lines expressed shock over the death of former minister Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao. Vidyadhara Rao died of heart attack today morning. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and several senior leaders condoled his death.

Kiran Kumar Reddy termed his death as a huge loss to the party. He spoke to the family members of Vidyadhar Rao over the phone.

TDP leaders also expressed shock over his death. Party chief Chandrababu Naidu said that his relation with Vidyadhara Rao was everlasting and his sudden death shattered him.

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana, TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao, Kotagiri's close friends—Kalahasti MLA Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, former minister Mandava Venkateswara Rao were among those who condoled his death.

Hearing the news of Kothagiri's death, Union Minster K. Chiranjeevi immediately left to Eluru from Delhi.
