Boudhanagar Residents Draw Up Their Own Election Manifesto

Residents of Boudhanagar locality in Secunderabad have their own perspective on the upcoming elections in Telangana. Together, they decided that they would vote only for the candidate who can solve all the prevelant problems in the area. Residents were upset with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi for not fulfilling many of its promises. They said that, there were long pending issues which remained unresolved. Drainage is a serious issue related to infrastructure in the area. Contaminated water causing health problems is yet another major problem.Residents in this low-lying area said that in the case of a downpour, rain water flooded their homes, adding to their misery. They would vote for a candidate who will be able to solve these problems. Boudhanagar also does not a government primary school, a primary health centre or a community hall. Above all, It was plagued by the most serious problem of regular drinking water supply, the residents said.
