Tranquilized Leopard Retaliates, Attacks Forest Team in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: In a sensational video that is currently going viral, a leopard that strayed into the human habitat gave a hard time to forest department personnel at Rajapet Thanda of Marriguda mandal in Nalgonda district on Thursday. Villagers who noticed the leopard stuck in the outer fencing of an agricultural land alerted the forest officials. The wild cat was later tranquilised as part of efforts to shift it back into the wilderness. But in the most unexpected fashion, the leopard retaliated and attacked some of the forest department personnel, making them run helter-skelter. After creating panic in the village for some time, the leopard went under the forest department vehicle and fell unconscious. The leopard was finally shifted out of the village but not before it ended up hurting two of the forest guards.
