As Australia and India played the second ODI,  turned out be quite an event when an Indian man chose the venue  and the match as an opportune moment to  propose to his Australian girlfriend. All this unfolded during India’s innings in the second ODI when the partnership between Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer wera at the crease.

Former Australian cricketers Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist also joined in the fun from the commentary box as the crowd eagerly waited for the girl’s response.

“She said Yes!” was flashed on the screen as Gilchrist burst out laughing. The crowd  along with Glenn Maxwell who was fielding, applauded this unforgettable gesture which was caught live on cameras and the video went viral in no time.
