Venkaiah Naidu Participates In Telangana Bonalu Festival In Delhi

Hyderabad: Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has participated in the Bonalu celebrations organized by the state government at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi on Wednesday. The minister offered `pattu vastralu' to Goddess Mahankali on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Naidu highlighted the state rituals and traditional values of the festival. "This is third consecutive year of celebrating the festival at Telangana Bhavan which popularizes the culture and traditions of the state as the national capital is home to people of all religions and regions," he said. The festival procession was taken out from India Gate to Telangana Bhavan.

Telangana Bhavan additional resident commissioner Vendantam Giri, assistant commissioner Ram Mohan, Lal Darwaza Mahankali temple committee chairman Posani Vijay Kumar Mudiraj among others participated in the event.
