Seer Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswati of Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham on Friday, made an appeal to the people to distinguish between religion and Dharma.

Speaking on the occasion of releasing the book-“MANDUKYA ADVAITHA SWAROOPAM VEDANTHA GRANDHA RAJAMU” at Sri Venkateswra Swamy temple, Chandanagar, Swamy Swaroopananda has explained that dharma is above religion in the book. “

The Maha Grantham is a compilation of Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi Mahasswamy’s teachings on various occasions to his disciples and Swamiji took two and half years to give final shape to the Maha Grantham.

Speaking on the occasion, Swamy Swaroopananda has expressed concern over the ongoing religious conversions across the country and appealed to put a put a stop to the conversion, by truly adopting the Hindu dharma. “Our mission is to spread the sanathana dharma, which speaks about equality and truth,” Swamy added. Sri Swaroopananda swamy pointed out that there are misconceptions among some people about the Upanishads and Vedas that they are meant for a section of people and added that that conception is not correct.

Speaking on the occasion, K V Ramanachary, Advisor to Telangana Government on Cultural Affairs, has hailed the efforts of Swamy Swaroopananda in consolidating Sanathana dharma, and added that he was told by several Vedic scholars about the inexorable efforts of Swamy Swaroopanada in highlighting the true essence of Mandukya Advaitha Upanishad. The Andhra Pradesh State Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao has recalled his memories as to how he has implemented the suggestions of Swamy Swaroopananda, while he was Executive Officer, TTD. AP Government’s Special Chief Secretary Ajay Kallam has suggested following Vedas, as they carry the essence of true Dharma.

On the occasion, Vedic scholar and Salakshna Ghanapathi Subrahmanya Deekshitulu, Vedic scholar Aswathha Narayana Avadhani and All India Brahmin Federation’s President Dronamraju Ravikumar were felicitated on the occasion.
