Vanitha Accuses Vijay Of Extra-Marital Affair

Hyderabad: Actor Vijay's suicide case is taking several twists and turns. His wife Vanitha has come on record alleging that Vijay had been suffering from HIV. She also claimed that her husband told her that he would not live any longer as he was suffering from AIDS.

Vanitha spoke to media persons on Monday hours after news of the actor's suicide broke out. She alleged that her husband abused her physically and mentally when she questioned his relationship with other women.

Vijay Sai committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan at his flat in Yousufguda. The 38-year-old comedian was reportedly dejected over not getting roles in movies. However, several versions have been reported in the media following his death. The police also found a selfie video in which the actor made his wife Vanitha and producer Sashidhar responsible for his death. He further asked his father not leave them as they had troubled him for money.

Vijay was introduced to the Tollywood with comedy film — Backpocket in 2001. He had got recognised in actor Siddharth’s Telugu movie Bommarillu in which he donned the role of the actor's bestie. Later, opportunities became thinner for him in the industry.
