UPA coordination committee deliberate over fate of AP- Live
The much awaited meeting of the UPA co-ordination committee has just began at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's 7 Race Course road residence in New Delhi.
Farooq Abdullah, Sharad Pawar, Ajit Singh are among ministers present at PM's house. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Chidambaram, Shinde, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kamalanath, Ahmad Patel, Ajith Singh, Farooq Abdullah and others are present in the closed door meeting.
Even as the UPA deliberates over the fate of Andhra Pradesh, widespread protests rocked several parts of Andhra Pradesh including Visakhapatnam where scores of anti-Telangana protesters are demanding that the state be kept united
The key Congress members are examining the Telangana blueprint. After the meeting concludes, the CWC meeting will began at Sonia Gandhi's residence.
Latest reports suggest that AP chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana also reached PM's residence after being summoned by the PMO
The crucial meet is being watched by the entire country who are following the political developments in Andhra Pradesh
The Union Cabinet will meet over Telangana tomorrow (Wednesday) in New Delhi at 11 am
It's learnt that after the UPA concludes the key meet, CM Kiran will meet Sonia before the crucial CWC meet on the issue
Five UPA allies are part of the meet. The Congress, which has completed the process of consultations on the issue, will now try to take the allies on board before it takes a final call in the CWC
