Uninterrupted power in BJP-ruled states: Venkaiah

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday criticised that the state government was moving ahead with hikes in power charges, but failed to give quality power to the people.

Attributing the present severe power crisis in the State to ignorance on the part of the government on the power generation, Venkaiah Naidu said there was uninterrupted power supply in BJP-ruled states. Replying to a question, the BJP leader said consultations were being taken up with allied parties to accept Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as prime ministerial candidate. The UPA government was diluting the investigative agencies like CBI which was never before in the history of independent India, Venkaiah Naidu remarked.
