Unidentified Person Kidnaps 2-Year-Old Girl At Kukatpally, Police Rescue Her In Hours
Hyderabad: A two-year-old girl was kidnapped by an unidentified person at Prakash Nagar in Kukatpally on Saturday afternoon. The girl, who is identified as Anusha, was kidnapped when she was playing in front of her house around 12 pm. The parents immediately approached the Kukatpally police and lodged a complaint.
The police, who formed separate teams, swung into action and secured CCTV footage from the street where the girl was gone missing. Within a few hours, the police arrested the kidnapper, 2 kilometres away from her residence and rescued the child safely from his clutches. Later, Anusha was handed over to her parents.
The police are interrogating the accused to know the motive behind the kidnap. The parents expressed happiness to the police after getting their daughter rescued from the kidnapper. A case has been registered against the accused and investigation is on. Further details in the case are awaited.
