Hyderabad: Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has postponed its proposed "rally for the unemployed" in protest against the government's apathy towards their cause.

The High of Judicature at Hyderabad granted permission to TJAC to conduct the rally at the Nagole Metro grounds. The rally can be held from 11 am to 3 pm, the Court said. However, the TJAC is unhappy with the ruling stating that the ground is on the outskirts of the city, making it difficult for the participants to reach the venue and also lacks basic facilities. They stated that the very purpose of the rally to highlight the plight of the unemployed will be defeated if its held on the outskirts of the city.

TJAC lawyers told that they complied with all condition put forth by the Telangana government, however, they deplored the state apathy evident from it's suggestion to hold the rally in a function hall.

Subsequently, TJAC withdrew its petition in the High Court. TJAC is yet to announce its further course of action.
