Uncle Rapes 10-Month-Old Baby In Gujarat
Gujarat: In a sordid incident, a 10-month-old baby was allegedly raped late on Tuesday night in Kanalus village in Jamnagar district, Gujarat. The news came more shocking for the parents as they suspect their family member committed the heinous crime. A complaint was lodged against Mukesh Thakor (30) who is the cousin of victim’s father.
The accused came to victim's house and took the baby girl out on the pretext of playing. Later, he dropped the baby back to her home and took leave from the victim’s parents. However, the parents realized that girl was sobbing and found blood stains on her dress.
"We found blood stains on her frock and suspect that something untoward was done on her. The child was crying relentlessly," said victim's father.
A case under section 376 of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) for penetrative sexual assault was registered. "We are looking into the matter and will arrest the accused." said Nasir Rayma, sub-inspector of Meghpar police station.
