Auto drivers in Hyderabad called for auto bandh for two days from February 19.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of Auto Union Joint Action Committee on Monday. The meeting clarified that the bandh was confined to only Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The union alleged that though there was abnormal increase in the essential commodities, petrol and diesel prices, the auto fares were not increased. Apart from other long pending demands, the auto union requested the Govt for auto fare hike.
