Twisting facts is Kiran's latest trick

It is an acknowledged fact that Chief Minister N Kirankumar Reddy is not a good orator. Let alone his lack of oratorical skills, but his twisting of facts is making people scoff at Kirankumar.

Even a layman will immediately reply when asked who is the most respected leader in the State, and which chief minister had implemented the maximum number of welfare programmes. The stock reply that comes from everyone is, the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Schemes like Arogya Sri and Pavala Vaddi have won the global acclaim. Even the hardcore critics of YSR admit even today that the Arogya Sri and Pavala Vaddi are novel schemes effectively implemented by the late YSR. In fact, he saw to it that the fruits of the schemes reached the targetted sections directly. These are the schemes that won the hearts of crores of the people of the State which made him an icon in their lives.
No doubt, after the sudden demise of YSR, the Congress has taken up an organized campaign to ensure that YSR's name is slowly erased from the people's minds. But they could achieve little in this regard as the beneficiaries refused to forget the late leader. The reason is simple. Those who underwent critical surgeries and are surviving today, honestly admit that, but for YSR they could not have afforded the expensive surgeries and would not seen the light of the day.
The beneficiaries of Pavala Vaddi scheme, who started several petty businesses and are now struggling to sustain them today too openly agree that it was because of YSR that they could even make both ends meet today.
Conveniently forgetting this fact, Kiran kumar at a recent public meeting that he addressed as part of his "Indiramma Baata" programme, claimed that the Paavala Vaddi scheme was first suggested by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi had given her consent to implement it. The Chief Minister did not find it fit to mention the name of YSR, whose brain child the scheme actually is. It was borne out of his mind as he (YSR) was the only leader who could give a personal touch to every layman.
Though the Chief Minister refused to acknowledge the fact, the gathering at the meeting promptly reminded Kiran not to forget to mention YSR's name at the beginning. Still, Kiran decided to ignore the public response.
Alas! Politicians are certainly a sect apart.
