TV Anchor Sells Land To Release Debut Movie on Time

TV anchor Ravi is all set to make his big screen debut in Tollywood with Idi Naa Prema Katha. A few days back, the makers of the film released a teaser and first look from the film which has received a thumbs up from the audience.

The audience have been pestering Ravi on the release date for quite some time now. Putting speculation and rumors to rest, Ravi said it wasn't easy for a small movie to see the light of the day. "About 200 Telugu movies release every year, along with 100 dubbed films taking the total numbers to 300 movies releases. On an average, six movies release every week. And if there are two bitg movies from the same language, one of them steps back to avoid clash at the box office," he said.

"If we do movie promotions, we expect to get same profits. Releasing a movie in maximum theatres will also ensure that the ROI comes is quick too," he added. To ensure timely release of Idi Naa Prema Katha, I have had to take a loan and also sell my land. I'm waiting for a perfect date to release the film so it gets a good audience reception," he signs off.
