TS YSRCP President Gattu Srikanth Reddy Indisposed While Protesting For ‘Not Being Invited’ For All Party Meeting

YSRCP Telangana president Gattu Srikanth Reddy was shifted to hospital after he was indisposed during the protest.

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party Telangana president Gattu Srikanth Reddy on Saturday afternoon was indisposed while staging a protest in front of Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund here for ‘not being invited’ by the TRS government to the all party meeting to be held on Saturday evening. The meeting has been called to discuss about the re-organisation of new districts in Telangana.

After paying floral tributes to Ambedkar’ statue, the YSRCP leaders staged a protest led by Gattu Srikanth Reddy who was indisposed when the police tried to detain him. He was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital.

Meanwhile, the suspense over the number of new districts will end on Saturday’s all party meeting which will be followed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao holding a Cabinet meeting. The meeting has been called to make an announcement regarding the new districts and approve the draft notification which will be kept in public domain for a month to seek objections and suggestions from the members of public.
