Hyderabad: TS ministers, including KT Rama Rao, have fared poorly in a survey conducted by TRS chief and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

The CM presented the survey report, done in all the 119 Assembly constituencies in February, to ministers and TRS MLAs at the TRSLP meeting held on Thursday ahead of budget session of the state Legislature.

The performance of the legislators and ministers was assessed based on a similar survey done in August, six months ago.

Rama Rao’s performance dipped from 70.60 percent to 60.40 percent while the CM’s performance improved from 75.70 percent to 96.70 percent, and T. Harish Rao’s performance went up from 60.90 percent to 82.30 percent.

Finance minister Etala Rajender improved from 73.50 percent to 89.90 percent occupying the second position after KCR.

Speaker Madhusudhana Chary’s performance came down to 50.20 percent from his earlier 62.80 percent.

Interestingly, Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy’s performance improved from 45.70 percent to 63.20 percent, while TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy’s score fell from 79.20 percent to 53.70 percent.

TD MLA A. Revanth Reddy fared badly with 49.80 percent against 56.80 percent earlier. MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi fared better with an increase from 43.50 percent to 57.10 percent.

Meanwhile, the survey became a hot topic on the opening day of the budget session of Telangana Legislature on Friday. Every legislator was curious to know their colleagues' ranks and KTR getting a low rank attracted everyone's attention.
