TRS men pelt stones at DK Aruna's bus
Minister of state for Information and Broadcasting, DK Aruna's bus yatra to publicise state government's welfare programmes which entered its third day on Wednesday invited the wrath of TRS workers.
TRS party workers obstructed her bus yatra at Pasgal and pelted stones at her bus. Raising slogans against the ministers, they attacked the bus. Tension prevailed when DK Aruna's supporters clashed with the TRS activists.
However, the police brought the situation under control and took TRS activists into their custody.
It is learnt that DK Aruna's bus yatra has been facing flak right from the start. Aruna is expected to conclude her yatra on the seventh day after a public meeting which Chief Minister Kiran Kuma Reddy will attend.
Aruna embarked upon the seven-day bus yatra to tour Mahbubnagar district and spread awareness about the government’s welfare programmes.
