TRS govt high on rhetoric, low on implementation: BJP

Charging the TRS government in Telangana with taking no concrete steps towards implementing its promises in the 100 days since it assumed office, BJP Telangana chief G Kishan Reddy said the government is high on rhetoric and low on implementation.

In an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Kishan Reddy said though the state has a surplus budget, the government is only delaying the implementation of its poll promise of farmers' loan waiver. TRS had promised to provide quality power to farmers for eight hours, but they were lathicharged when they protest against problems in power supply, he said.

"Did you feel pain when 200 farmers laid down their lives due to mounting debts since you became Chief Minister? These suicides would have stopped had you given clear directions on loan waiver and started the process," Reddy said in his letter.
