TRS government’s New Year largesse for GHMC householders

Hyderabad: Telangana Government as New Year’s sop has announced property tax reduction for GHMC residents on the occasion of New Year.

According to officials, the TRS government has cut the Property Tax to Rs.101 from Rs.1, 200 for the residents come under the GHMC limits. Henceforth, the house owners in the limits of GHMC will have to pay Rs.101 instead of 1,200. The government announced its decision on Thursday.

The move comes ahead of GHMC elections. TRS earlier waived off water and power dues to woo the city voters.
