TRS cheating people in the name of sentiment : Ponnala

Telangana PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah today lambasted the TRS saying it was cheating the people in the name of local sentiment.

Speaking after launching the party's membership drive at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, he said: “Infact, it is the main weapon of TRS.”

Former minister Danam Nagendar took the first membership. Ponnala told the leaders to conduct the membership in a transparent way.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the regional parties do not have national outlook. “Only Congress party is working with a national outlook in the entire country,” said Ponnala.

“Congress party will be strengthened if all the leaders work in unison,” said the former minister.
