TRS and CM speak in different voices

One the one hand, the TRS leaders hoped that the Centre would come out with a decision soon and that the formation of a separate state will come into effect soon.

But on the other, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy today said, "Finding a solution to the Telangana issue is not easy." This ambivalence is difficult to comprehend.

While talking to reporters in Hyderabad, the CM said that it's not easy to come to a conclusion on the sensitive issue of T- state. He said the state government has to take a decision on it first and then the centre comes into the picture.

Asked if the high command had called him to Delhi this Sunday, he said that he had not been summoned. He also said that he will give his opinion on the issue whenever the centre asks him to do so.

Referring to reports from New Delhi that the Centre would take a call on Telangana very soon, the Chief Minister quipped, Otherwise why would (Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief) the KCR camp be in New Delhi for these many days! Responding to a query, he said that there was nothing wrong in people from different regions expressing divergent views on the bifurcation demand. On the move of the Congress leaders from Andhra and Rayalaseema regions to meet in Hyderabad, he said that they  have a  right to express their opinion. Meanwhile, Kiran has again appealed to the Telangana Joint Action Committee to put off its proposed march here on September 30.
