Tremors In TDP: Prabhakar Chowdary staunchly opposes Gurunath Reddy’s entry

YSRCP MLA Gurunath Reddy's defection is causing tremors in the TDP. Another MLA from the party, Prabhakar Chowdary has come out openly against Gurunath Reddy joining the TDP.

Prabhakar Chowdary said: "Reddy is joining the TDP only to protect his assets and businesses. His opportunistic politics are well-known and he has a history of land grabbing and political murders. He has always been my adversary and is known to have instigated people to throw slippers on TDP leaders."

Known to be a staunch opponent of Gurunath Reddy, the TDP MLA said he would give Reddy's TDP entry event a miss. He said he doesn't even want to be photographed with Gurunath Reddy.

Meanwhile, Prabhakar Chowary also met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and protested against his decision to admit Reddy into the party. But, Chandrababu is believed to have told him that Gurunath Reddy was being allowed in the party only to strengthen TDP. He reportedly asked Prabhakar Chowdary to come up with strategies to strengthen the party in the run-up to 2019 elections.
