Hyderabad: In view of Bakrid festival traffic restrictions are imposed at Mir Alam and Balamrai Idgahs in connection with Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) prayers on Tuesday.

Here’s how the traffic should move:

Between 8am and 9.30am motorists proceeding towards Mir Alam Tank Idgah for prayers will be allowed via Puranapul, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh and Bahadurpura X Road. Meanwhile, from commencement of prayers till dispersal of congregation general traffic will be diverted at Bahadurpura X Roads either towards Kishanbagh or Kamatipura from 8am to 11am.

Similarly, vehicular traffic coming from National Police Academy, Shivrampally towards Idgah at Mir Alam Tank will be allowed till 9.30am and general traffic proceeding towards Bahadurpura X Roads from Shivrampally will be diverted at Danamma Huts `T’ junction towards Aliabad via Ansari Road and Jahanuma Boys School between 8am and 11am.

Meanwhile, general traffic from Puranapul heading towards Shiva Temple and nearby areas will be diverted towards the City College till the entire congregation disperses from the Idgah after the prayers.

General traffic at Balamrai Idgah in Secunderabad coming from CTO will not be permitted towards Classic Garden road, Idgah and will be diverted from Rajeev Gandhi Statue towards Lee Royal Palace junction and Balamrai Checkpost from 9am to 11.30am.
