Toppling Lorry Flattens Car, But, 3 Women Come Out Without A Scratch
Three women and driver in China had a providential escape and emerged without a single scratch after their car was flattened by a toppling lorry. Though the car was completely mangled, the quartet managed to come out unscathed. The incident occurred near Dongzhou Industrial Park in Fuyang of Hangzhou province.
The authorities explained that since the women and the driver were small in physical appearance, they managed to curl their bodies to avoid being crushed. They were later successfully rescued by the firefighters and police.
Sources say the car driver had slowed down on approaching a road junction, but the lorry driver tried to turn left and topped over and fell onto the car. The Chinese police said the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
