Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party MLA RK Roja said that despite the TDP leaders being part of Union cabinet and enjoying their position for four years, they were unable to get the promises made in AP Bifurcation Act implemented. Speaking to media here today, Roja accused Chandrababu of misusing power for his own benefits.

The YSRCP MLA pointed out that it was YSRCP which had been relentlessly fighting for Special Category Status (SCS) to AP for the last four years. "Chandrababu's one day fast was just to mislead the people and they too have understood it." She said that the AP CM had compromised with Centre on the issue of SCS. He had asked the central government to increase the number of constituencies in the state instead of SCS, she asserted. Roja alleged that Chandrababu had conspired with Congress and framed false cases against YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The TDP Chief has successfully diluted the SCS issue over the last four years, Roja said. She said that the AP CM's 12 hour fast was like a cinema audio function. He would be fooling people once again on April 30 in Tirupati in the name of Dharma Porata Deeksha, she observed. "But the people are considering it as TDP Leaders' Fools Day."

Roja questioned Chandrababu's attitude and said on the one hand he criticises BJP and on the other hand Maharashtra BJP leader's wife Swapna was taken into TTD Governing Body. "Are there no Telugu women who can be taken into TTD Board?" She alleged that AP CM had compromised on SCS to wriggle out of the Vote-for-Note case.
