HYDERABAD: Samantha Akkineni is undoubtedly one of the most talented actresses in the South. The Akkineni bahu is ruling the world of Telugu cinema. Samantha has evolved as an actress with time and is very keen on choosing the scripts for her film. After, Oh! Baby, Jaanu is going to hit the theatres very soon. Jaanu is the remake of a Tamil film 96 in which Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha acted in lead roles. The movie 96 turned as a blockbuster in Kollywood in 2018.

Director C Prem Kumar who helmed the Tamil film is making the Telugu remake as well. Recently, the teaser of the film has been released and it looked stunning.
Now, the rumours are doing rounds in the filmy circles that Samantha Akkineni will turn as a lucky charm for the film, Jaanu and it, in turn, would help Sharwanand to score a decent hit.

We all know that Samantha has proven her acting skills with the movie, Oh Baby, U-Turn, Rangasthalam, Majili, etc. She has that power to attract the audience and steals the show with her cute expressions.

The film 'Jaanu' is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, Sirish and Harshith. Govind Vasantha is the music director of the film.
